Seeing I now live in the city and live less than a mile from work, I decided to walk to work. After a couple weeks of that I said to myself, “self, we need a bike so we can get to work faster and get around the city too.” So I bought a bike! I admit, I totally cheaped out and went to Target because, well, it was a lot cheaper than other places to be honest with you. I always try to buy from local vendors I simply couldn’t afford to. Never the less, I love my new bike!

My rat had a tumor removed from it’s butt! I’d like to thank everyone over at Cats and Critters just off Park Ave. in the city for performing the surgery and just being unbelievably kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and reasonably priced. I moved this past weekend back to downtown Rochester.  My wife and I had been living in Greece for the last year and a half, and while Greece is a very convenient place with so many places to shop, we both missed the craziness that comes with the city.

Over 3 years ago I moved from Buffalo to Rochester and for my first year lived downtown on East avenue… 4 stories directly above Sallinger’s actually. Talk about a dream for a bachelor LOL. I could open my window and there was East End Fest.

I liked it, and my wife is a fan of it… so now we’re back.  I can walk to work (I’m .3 miles away according to google maps). Shopping is a drive but everything is close.
