What a mess this whole H1N1 debacle has turned out to be.  On Thursday, hundreds of people stood out in the cold rain for hours waiting to receive their shot and hoping they won’t be exposed to the Swine Flu.  Things seemed a bit disorganized at the former IQ Mall, now also the former Medley Center.  Here’s 5 locations to get a free shot Saturday from 10a-6p:

>> Blue Cross Arena

>> Lake Ridge Center (all the former malls in one in IQ)

>> Penfield Town Hall

>> West End Business Center on West Ave. in the city

>> First Bible Baptist Church in Hilton

Speaking of shots, keep you eyes open out in the country this weekend because gun shooting season gets underway for the hunters Saturday morning at sunrise.  White tail deer will be on the run from Crockett and all the Barney Fyfes out there.  Don’t shoot yourself in the leg with your one bullet…

And speaking of the country, I’ll be wandering out to Elba in Genesee County Saturday night to enjoy the fine music of my onion farmers from Elba in the band known as Savage Cabbage.  I’ll be posted at the Stumblin Inn in beautiful downtown Elba for a night with my boy Droid and all the hard working farmers from the country who are loyal to the Workday Buzz.  Shoot me now Lord cuz I’m goin’ to Heaven…or Elba, whichever comes first!
