Thanks to Billy Kidd for getting this video together and helping me organize the Ghost Hunt… definitely couldn’t have done it without him!

The Buzz hosted the grand opening for a brand new irish bar in Henrietta Wednesday night. TC Rileys opened in the new RIT Park Point Plaza on Jefferson Rd. at Brighton-Henrietta Townline Rd. It’s a beautiful setting and a great bar. Food was tasty, lots of flat screens for sports fans, beautiful women, the beer was as cold as you can get and the crowd was fun. Thanks to everybody who stopped by, and special thanks to the owner Chris and his staff Rachel, Nicole, Ryan and Rumon (The Man in charge) for the fine hospitality. I can tell that this place is a winner, and the whole plaza looks like a hit for Wilmorite and RIT. I’ll be there again next Wednesday for a Buzz Happy Hour from 7p-9p, so stop by and try it out.
Welcome home to Lance Corporal Jason Stam who returned home Wednesday night to a heroes welcome at the airport. Hilton’s Marine safely returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, where he lived in the dirt for 4 long months! Can you imagine being 20 years old, leaving your family, traveling across the globe to one of the most dangerous places on earth and living in the freakin’ dirt? I can’t either. Congratulations to LCpl Stam, his fiance Grace and the entire Stam family on the wedding this weekend. Job well done soldier! God bless Jason Stam and all of our dedicated troops!
Found an interesting bit of porn today. It’s a little different from what you may be used to seeing on the internet.
See for yourself!
++ Had a great dinner last night at the home of my good chums the Barrys. Thanks to Emily, Pistol Pete, Liam and Luke for a fun night as the boys prepped Uncle Mayor for Halloween.
++ Halloween on a Friday? Whoa, look out! Chaos will rule, fear will terrorize, ghouls will roam free! And we’re not even talking about Wall St. or Election Day……
++ Great weather today….always love when I read the forecast and it says “blustery and cold” on Oct. 28th. Not sure if I’m ready for what’s coming down the pike in the next month or so!
++ Speaking of great weather, did you happen to catch the World Series game in Philadelphia last night? What a swamp. Baseball should not be played within hours of Halloween! Oh, that’s right….it wasn’t played cuz the Commish “suspended” the game due to the weather in the 6th inning. How ridiculous that the Series is being played this late in the season. And Major League Baseball is so freakin’ smart that next years World Series will have games scheduled in November. Genius!
++ And speaking of games, this is a great time of the year for high school football and soccer. The playoffs are on and the games mean more. Check ‘em out if you have a chance. In boys scocer, Pitt Mendon takes on Honeyoe Falls-Lima tonight @ ER at 7. Bundle up!
++ One final week of campaigning until E-Day. It’s almost over. How will TV survive without all the ads (one after another)? And it will be pretty when the snow covers up where all those lawn signs were….
++ Where would we be without the warriors who fight for our freedom, so we can vote. God bless our troops!
Got a few emails from a cell phone today. Each one included a picture from an AC/DC concert. Turns out Buzz listener Joe from Nunda got a sneak peak of the AC/DC tour…
“Hey, Dem. Hope you liked the pics. Wachovia Arena. Wilkes Barre, Pa. Sunday night. Was an invite only crowd of around 2000, for the final dress rehearsal. Tour starts tonight.
Joe from Nunda”

I love it when my cats move their little paws up and down on either the couch, a pillow, my lap etc…. I’m not sure why they do these things….only a cat fknows. I found this video a cat doing his massage thing…on a guys crotch!! I’s really funny Check this out!
On Saturday a group of people I work with met at our High Falls Studios at 70 Commercial Street to do a ghost hunt. We did this because 1. we have had reports of people seeing ghosts and 2. we’re bored.
Later in the week I will post pictures, video, and more audio. Here I have put together the EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) that I collected from the night. EVP’s are voices and sounds that do not belong and can not be explained. They are often whispers and are hard to hear, so it is important that you listen while WEARING HEADPHONES.
To listen to the EVP’s I found, CLICK HERE or visit our PODCAST…
Started the weekend with a visit to Cortland, otherwise known as Sportland. Met up with a group of my college buddies at the Central City (www.centralcitybarandgrill.com). My bud David Basile owns this cool little joint in downtown Sportland. “Baze”, Pammy and Spoles were fine hosts while the Shinske family took over the dining room. Matthew was on a college visit, so it gave us all an excuse to ride into town. I was joined by Earl Kulick, who bartended with me at the IB in Geneseo, along with Ira’s wife Randi and the Phil Connery contingent from Cortland St. We had a great time, and I highly recommend the Central City. The only drawback was paying $200 to stay at a Hampton Inn in freakin’ Cortland! Guess we should plan better next time and not show up on Parents Weekend when they jack the hotel rates! Proving once again we may have all graduated from Geneseo but aren’t the smartest tools in the shed….
Saturday I cruised into Canandaigua to watch my beloved CA Braves take down Honeyoe Falls-Lima in Sectional football. Nothing like a rainy field to get the mud flowing. Then I made a quick stop at the Niagara to check in with the MitchMan, Mitchell Buck for his post-game review. Then rolled into Rockys in CA to check on the Catalfamo family, still in charge after 30 years downtown. Then it was back to Rochester for a Halloween Bash at Nancy Mule’s loft in the Temple Building by the Liberty Pole. It is a beautiful building and shows why people are moving back downtown. Had a great time soaking up the Halloween cheer.
Sunday it was time for Bills football, and I headed north to Summerville to be a “celebrity judge” at Olies for the Chili Cook-Off. Only problem is that I don’t eat chili. But the Coors Lights tasted just fine, which is saying more than how the Bills played. Can’t win ‘em all……….
Hope the last weekend of October was just as fun for you. With only 8 days left until Election Day, the campaign fun is winding down for my man Sen. Joe Robach. Nobody works harder than our rock-n-roll Senator, and I ask you to consider voting for him if you live in the city, Greece, Hilton or Brighton. Joe is a good man, and he gets good things done for us. God bless Joe and God bless our troops!

Since I’m the resident geek around here, I thought I should pass along a little security notice to you.
According to CNET if you own a computer running Windows attached to a network, you need to install a vital security patch ASAP.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love my Mac?
Did you catch Will Ferrell as George W. Bush on SNL last night? “Bush” was advising “Sarah Palin” in the Oval Office. Man, SNL is pulling out all the stops to soak up the ratings as much as possible as the campaign finally draws down. And they are certainly showing their liberal bias. Ever see anybody on the nets (Letterman, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, SNL, etc.) mocking or taking shots at Barack Obama? He seems to be getting a pass as they all gang up on the Republican ticket.
Enough about politics. Let’s talk about some fun stuff goin’ down ’round town this weekend:
>> Section 5 high school football playoffs kick off tonight with #1 Hilton hosting Fairport and Webster Schroeder hosting East in Class AA, while my CA Braves host Honeyoe Falls-Lima tomorrow in Class A, and McQuaid travels over the bridge to Greece Athena. Love the sectionals!
>> This is the final weekend for the Haunted Hayrides in Williamson. I highly advise you to go tonight before the weather takes a dive on us.
>> RBTL presents Legally Blonde at the Aud this weekend. Saw it Tuesday and it’s a great show. A little bit of something for everybody: singing and guys with 6 pack abs for the ladies, comedy and beautiful women like Becky Gulsvig as Elle for the guys. It’s worth a couple of hours of your time to check it out. And another reason why we should all get behind the Renaissance Square project downtown to keep bringing great Broadway shows downtown.
>> Right across the street from the Aud at the Main St. Armory there will be the Red Bull Trick-or-Treat Pro-am Invitational BMX racing Sat. at 7pm.
>> If you’re into KISS, 5 local bands will salute the iconic Buzz band Sat. night at the Bug Jar on Monroe Ave. Imagine the freaks who will be out in KISS attire with all the Halloween parties goin’ down this weekend….
>> And the Bills go for win #6 at Miami Sunday. I’ll be catching all the action with the Olies crew during their Chili Cook-off. Hope to survive and be back here at 98.9 the Buzz Monday @ 10am. Til then, have a great weekend, and remember those heroes who put up with scary tricks on a daily basis> God bless our troops!
